  • How long does it take to build a Cape Built home?

From the time an order is placed for a home to the time you can move in typically takes between 6-9 months. This is up to 1-year faster than a traditional stick-built home. Variables that can impact this timeline include, but are not limited to, customizations, permitting, local zoning, and site work.

  • How complete is the home when it leaves the factory?

Depending on the design of the home and the amount of finish work you want your builder to complete, homes typically leave the factory between 60%-90% complete. The majority of homes are closer to 90% complete when they leave the factory. It is usually a matter of attaching the modules to the foundations, connecting utilities, and completing minor finish work.

  • Is it possible to tour the manufacturing facility?

Yes. Homebuyers may tour the production factory by appointment if desired.

  • Do I need to live on the coast to purchase a CapeBuilt home?
